✦ About Her
Kuutar, the Damselette
Columbina Hyposelenia is a playable Hydro character who wields a Catalyst. Known as Kuutar to the Frostmoon Scions of Nod-Krai and formerly as The Damselette — Third of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers — she is an artificial lifeform born into an unkind world, cast into solitude from the moment of her creation.
Her outfit, Moonweave Gossamer, is a weightless raiment crafted from Frostmoon Scion fabrics threaded with moonlight. She wears a flowing white and indigo-blue dress with large shawl-like panels, a ribbon bow, and a blue crescent-shaped gem on her chest — a reflection of her identity as the Moon Goddess.
Once a wanderer of looping paths and fading memories, she found her name through the bonds she forged with the Traveler, Arlecchino, and Sandrone. As the Harbingers are ranked by power, her position as Third — above even Tartaglia — speaks to a strength rivaling that of the Archons themselves.

✦ Lore
Her Story
Fragments of truth from the world of Teyvat and the frozen expanse of Nod-Krai.
Born into an Unkind World
Columbina is an artificial lifeform — a surrogate daughter of Canon, the former Frost Moon goddess. She was born in Hiisi Island, Nod-Krai, existing in solitude from the moment of her creation. The Frostmoon Scions took her in and named her Kuutar, the Moon Lady — a title drawn from Finnish mythology — and worshipped her as their goddess for over 500 years.
The Damselette — Third Harbinger
Columbina eventually joined the Fatui Harbingers, earning the rank of Third — an extraordinary position given the Harbingers are ranked by power, placing her above Tartaglia. Both the Wanderer and Childe have warned the Traveler of her true strength, while Nahida confirmed the top three Harbingers each possess power rivaling that of the Archons. She was known by her codename, The Damselette, though she never truly felt it was her own.
Song of the Welkin Moon
Having grown disillusioned with both the Frostmoon Scions and the Fatui — both seeking only to use her power — Columbina retreated to the Silvermoon Hall of Hiisi Island. During the Nod-Krai Archon Quests, the Traveler uncovered her true nature as the Moon Goddess Kuutar. Through a paradox in time, she traveled 500 years into the past, leaving guidance for the future and creating Luonnotar by giving up a piece of her own soul.
The Trilune Goddess
In Moon's Reflection, the Three Moon Sisters transferred their combined Lunar Authority to Columbina, making her the Trilune Goddess. To escape, she divided herself: her body became scattered kuuvahki across Nod-Krai, her soul remained anchored in the Moon's Reflection, and her Trilune Authority was hidden within the Frost Moon. Reborn in Teyvat, she defeated Dottore — who had briefly become the False Moon God — alongside the Traveler and the people of Nod-Krai.
"She Prefers It That Way"
Though she bears many names — Kuutar, The Damselette, Goddess — none felt truly her own until the Traveler, Arlecchino, and Sandrone simply called her Columbina. When the time came to choose a name to call her back to Teyvat, it was Columbina Hyposelenia — "Beneath the Moon" — that answered. She chose to remain in the world of the living, for the friends who gave her that name.

"Winter, without question. After the restlessness of spring, the clamor of summer, and the bounty of autumn, winter's snow quietly laid a finger across the world's lips — hush."

"It was I who brought Luonnotar into being... I gave up a piece of my own soul to create her."
— Columbina · Song of the Welkin Moon, Act VII
"Night, of course. The world of daylight was filled with too many words beyond her understanding. At least at night, she could clearly feel the pull from beyond the heavens."
— In-Game Lore · Friendship Lv. 3 — True Moon
"Simply existing along the extension of that meaning was enough to fill Columbina with warmth. Still... nightfall was better when under clear skies."
